cmitch9999 Posted October 7, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 7, 2011 HI there wondering if anyone can share some suggestions for a restaurant where our cruise critic roll call can meet the night before we sail for dinner??? (sailing on the Norwegian Spirit 2-26-2011) I am guessing at this point we will have maybe 20-25 attending. Having option for separate checks would be a huge ++. I am expecting that prices below 20 or so for an entree would be comfortable for all. Thanks for any help Chrissy
rvsullivan Posted October 7, 2011 #2 Share Posted October 7, 2011 I hope you meant 2/26/12??? Not sure where you could do that big a group. Maybe Harrah's buffet. It's pretty good and a little spendy.
jgmpuma Posted October 7, 2011 #3 Share Posted October 7, 2011 Three suggestions for places that can handle a group that size and are in your price range: http://www.bourbonhouse.com http://www.tujaguesrestaurant.com http://www.deanies.com Tujague's has a fixed price menu for four courses. Bourbon House is a little more upscale than the others. Deanie's has excellent food for the price, and huge portions. Be sure to make reservations. I doubt if any will do separate checks. World Gallery Posted October 7, 2011 #4 Share Posted October 7, 2011 My suggestion would be to avoid Harrah's buffet if you want "real" New Orleans food. My vote would be Deannies. If you go at a slightly off time, it may be better in regards to crowds. You would have to call each restaurant and ask about resevations and separate checks. rvsullivan Posted October 10, 2011 #6 Share Posted October 10, 2011 Let me know if any of those suggestions will actually handle your group and do split checks. We only like Harrah's because of all you can eat seafood and prime rib. Their selection of cajun food is limited to only 10-15 items, so if that's what your looking for, it would not work. Good luck.
