bobby1119 Posted October 14, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 14, 2011 I am booked on the January 3-10, 2012, eastbound crossing of Queen Mary 2 and the January 10-18, 1012, westbound crossing of Queen Elizabeth. Queen Mary 2 is scheduled to berth at the Ocean Terminal, and Queen Elizabeth will depart from the Mayflower Terminal. My question relates to the logistics of the transfer from one ship to the other in terms of luggage. Do I have to lug the cases into a taxi and over to the QE, or does Cunard provide a transfer of luggage from one ship to the other? Very exited about my first experience on the new ship. Thank you for your suggestions. Bobby

But you need to arrange it onboard, so nothing to think or worry about ahead of time.
silvaner Posted October 14, 2011 #3 Share Posted October 14, 2011 If there are a large number of transfer passengers Cunard will provide a free bus to transfer the passengers. If only one or two passengers they will pay for a taxi. Their computer knows who is transfering but it is safer to ask the purser a few days before just in case they forgot and have to arrange it with shoreside.
