snorkeling med is it done?

doing classic med cruise in July 2005. Was wondering if they ever do snorkeling. We have looked at all land excursions ,but is there anything like wrecks or interesting fish that you can go and see.We are visiting Rome ,Barcelona, Lisbon Gibr, Corsica or do we just have to book another cruise to the caribbean?
