Zoo

[RVP cruiser]

Hey all,

 

Myself, Hubby and 2 girls (9 and 15) will be on Carnival Legend durning Thanksgiving week- 2011. My girls love animals and heard that the zoo was a great option.

Does anyone have any info- How far from port, what are the transportation options? Is there a website to get info?

If anyone has any pictures or summary on visit to the zoo- please share with me.

Just do a web search for Belize Zoo and you will find some info. We have been there twice and we love it. It is not like an American zoo. It is more primitive and the animals are all native to Belize. We booked with someone at the docks. Can't remember the name but, it was great.
