Tour in Sicily

What is the best tour or thing you saw or did from the port of Messina, Sicily? I have already been to Taormina and Catemola.

We just walked around on our own and toured a few churches, took photos, etc.. Really not much to do there if you have already been to the other areas.

 

The highlight of our walk was going by the elementary school and hearing the children singing YMCA at the top of their lungs. :) This was fairly early in the morning, so my guess is they were either in gym class, or getting pepped up for the days classes. :D

we went up mt etna, that was pretty neat if you haven't done that yet.

I would definately recommend the Museo Regionale . It is about 3 km from the Piazza Duomo. There are 2 Caravaggio there. Have you seen the clock strike noon ? Quite amazing ! I would also recommend to climb up inside the bell tower
