MrSnarkyPants Posted October 26, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2011 A year-long construction project starts tonight on the vehicle ramp used to drop off passengers. The road was built 50 years ago and hasn't been updated in 20 years, so they're going to replace all of the pavement. Things to be aware of: 1. Traffic will be re-routed to the second level of a parking garage. From there you can take a crosswalk to the terminal. Disabled passengers will be the only ones who can get curbside drop-off at the terminal. 2. Southwest will be the only airline with curbside check-in during the project; that will be at the baggage claim area. Expect delays getting in and out of Hobby during the project. http://abclocal.go.com/ktrk/story?section=news/local&id=8405964 http://www.fly2houston.com/ProjectHobby
