Enjoying your review! My son and his new wife sailed this cruise for their honeymoon. (Dad & Mom's wedding gift)

They said that they had a great time, but took very few pictures (Honeymooning, I guess ;)) They mentioned the last sea day was a rough ride? Was it?

Thank you; I will have to finish up tomorrow after work. Yes, the last night was a doozy...but the big ships stabilizers helped alot, I am sure. We weren't feeling it as bad as the waves looked outside..Nothing like what they were experiencing this week though I hear. Thank goodness we didnt' need to deal with it that badly..It was a great cruise...generous gift:)

Considering Pride for our next cruise, would love to hear more!

Am so sorry..will be finishing up later today..have had one heck of a week and just didn't have time or energy...actually, it won't take very long because unfortunately, this is where my picture taking took a dive and we didn't do much the last 2 days (which not doing much is my heaven so it was all good:)

i actually read some posters jump all over another doing a review because she wasn't posting fast enough. turned my stomach. it got nasty and was eventually locked.

lol...posters could have jumped all over me and gotten nasty with me but that wouldn't have made me write it any faster...no way I could have finished it this week; Posters need to be more kind; life does get in the way sometimes:) Thank goodness you have patience!

The review is great so far! I'm thinking of taking my kids to the public beach by Atlantis. Can you tell me how far of a walk it is from where the water taxi let you off. Are there signs that point the way?

Thanks!

Hi and thank you. Well...unfortunately, each time we have walked we have lost track of the long stream of people who walk to the beach, so we have gotten lost on 3 occasions. I would guess it is about a 10 minute walk..anyone else REALLY know?

Day #5 (or is this #6?) Freeport: Well...here we are on the last 2 days of our trip. The day at Freeport for us was kind of a bust. The port day is only from 7-2 and we had to be back on the ship by 1:30 I believe and town was 12 miles away. We got up late and checked how much it would be to go into town for just a couple of hours (I think it wasn't that much but would have been like 24.00 for both of us r/t) and decided that to go to another straw market (as it was not that great a beach day and not alot of time) would not be worth it. I do know that we had a wonderful, lazy day on the ship, looking at the shops at the port and hanging out on the Lido deck; First, we had breakfast in the Normandie (we ate there 2x for breakfast; each day we ate there was good); I like to eat there for the more relaxed atmosphere and chit chat with fellow passengers. After breakfast, we went back to the cabin to relax a little more:) and get ready for our day. We just got off and checked out the port shops that were ok, but nothing to write home about. I did hear that the people who actually left the ship/port enjoyed town. After the shops (and we did not buy anything except a wood fish my hub just had to have), we boarded the ship again and went to lunch on the Lido (another Ruben for me!) We had a few drinks and listened to the tunes as people were returning. There were actually alot of people and we snagged one chair to share, put our belongings there and jumped into the hot tub at one point and enjoyed our time with some folks. Ok..so now this is the problem with writing this so much later and I cannot find Friday's Fun Times..ugh...I am starting to wonder if we jumped in the hot tub after Nassau or Freeport...ah doesn't matter, I guess...hub not home to ask:)

We went to dinner in the Normandie again...Tonight was our 2nd Formal night. We enjoyed the Prime Rib..actually it was delicious!! We both changed after dinner though to have a more relaxed evening in the casino, checked out one of the dance clubs (we didn't dance, just looked on)...not very much going on in there this evening.

Final Sea Day and last day on the ship: Well..this review is definitely fizzling out..but our last day at sea we saw some major wind, some waves and a very cool (meaning chilly outside) ending to our cruise. We slept in, ate all day, packed, drank rum and cokes, played in the casino (imagine that), entered the slots tourney (imagine that..Hub won his second t-shirt in the finals today) and enjoyed our final moments. We went to dinner and said our goodbyes to our table mates and our servers

That night we went to a couple of shows (Legends and the Comedy Club). We started at the 9:45 adults only comedy and then we went to the Taj Mahal and sat up top for the Legends show. We only stayed for about 1/2 hour of it; Honestly one of my only complaints this trip was the smell in the area we were seated. We tried to move but it seemed to have an odor upstairs. I think it was Carpet Fresh or some kind of furniture freshening spray and they were trying to mask something else...lol..otherwise I did like the theater and downstairs was great.

(this is from another day, but thought I would put in because the looks on our faces, says it all...relaxed, happy and together:)

Woke up the next morning and we # 9 debarkation....so we had a little time to relax; had our last room service coffee on a very cold balcony (we came back to fears of a huge nor'easter!!).

We got out of the cabin around 8:30 (though they wanted us off before, I think) and we did go to the dining room (I think I said we only ate in DR 2x, but it was 3). We went to the Taj Mahal and waited; that was ok; hubby was tired, so laid down on a couch and waited. I went up and looked at last pics (didn't get any other new ones) and when I got back, it was time to go. We got off about 10:30 or so. Debarkation was painless...found our luggage easily enough sailed through customs ("bringing anything in?" No...Have a good day). All in all a great, relaxing cruise..no excursions...no obligations...no major issues...alot of sleep, sitting on balcony, room service, shows, casino and relaxation...can't beat that!! We caught a cab to our friend's house in Balto, hung out there a little while and were on the road for our 8 hour trip back home...:( We were worried about the weather, because we heard horror stories about the storm that hit Massachusetts..we were blessed because it really hit northern and western parts so our drive was not affected at all.

Thank you all for reading..Now on to planning our next cruise!!
