Are the slides on the Epic open while at port??

Yup - we opted out of Nassau and only shopped for about an hour. Then came back to the ship and enjoyed an empty pool deck and the slides. Enjoy!

We did the same thing -- came back early and had the pool area basically to ourselves. We went down each slide numerous times. It is a great way to beat the crowds during the sea days. Also, we took advantage of the slides on embarkation day. Brought our suits and changed in the bathrooms on deck. Hung out on the slides and then went to our rooms at 1:30 p.m. when the announcements were made that they were ready.

Yes they are open, and the lines are MUCH shorter....! That was when I went on them.....

That is when we go on them. I was winded going up the stairs with my boys and going down the slides with no wait! LOL A lot of fun!

This was the only time to slide. short rides and fast slides, especially the green one.
