So you know whats important to me I ask when is the chocolate buffet on the Dawn? Also do they have a midnight buffet? We sailed on the Golden Princess late Jan and they did not have either! Great ship but trying the Dawn now 5/30! Soooo looking forward to the chocolate buffet! What kinds of things do they have? Does it get crazy? Lots of people up all night if its late with all the chocolate adrenaline high!

Thanks!

When I was on the Dawn it was in the afternoon-- It was the first "sea" day-Monday- Don't get too fired up- I looked, but I didn't take anything- Nothing much appealed to me. Others left with plates stacked. I think it was a case of "your eyes being bigger..."...

I agree they didn't even have good brownies or chocolate chip cookies . It was Monday at 2 or so wy to early in my opinion. Also on the NCL Sea the champagne was free it wasn't on the Dawn.... It was fun but always too much food...

I enjoyed the Chocolate buffet but don't pile your plate too high. Save yourself for the ice cream sunday fixin's at the end of the line.

Yum!!!!!
Enjoy

Actually, the stuff looked a lot better than it tasted. We didn't go, but they served the leftovers in the Garden Cafe later that day. It looked pretty, but not much taste.

We were on the Dawn with vijoge last December. We never turn down chocolate so although we were full from lunch, it certainly did not stop us from eating again I think the leftovers at the buffet were the "less yummy" items.

We thought the Chocolate Buffet on the NCL Dawn was much better than on the NCL Sun (different pastry chef???) There were 4 of us and we shared so that we could taste EVERY item. We liked the chocolate dipped fruit and a few of the pastries. If you like ice cream, jeannep's suggestion to save some room on your plate is a good one to follow. As a Princess cruiser, you're probably well acquainted with their Chocolate Dreamboat - same thing, just in bigger quantities!
