Jeep tour, island marketing

Hi,

Does anybody know what is the ''resort'' you end up at for lunch and relaxation around the pool? Thinking of doing this 5.5 hour jeep tour, but would like to know where we end up, as we would like to go swim with the dolphins also. If we do just the dolphins, is there enough to spend a few hours there?

Thanks

We did that tour. It was fun, they really pushed me to tip the guy who took me out for snorkling ($10), which kind of ticked me off--not the tipping--the part where the tour guide acted like he was doing me a favor by finding a guy to take me out. I mean, they stated it was included. My family decided to stay on the beach while I snorkled (it was gorgeous, with reefs and fantastic fish). The beach was very nice and had few people. The resort is a hotel resort close to town. You eat at restaurant on the water (but not right on the beach, more street level, with very little beach below you). If you look at the bottom picture of the jeep tour, you can see how little beach there is). We ate fajitas. They were pretty good. Sodas and tip were not included. There was a small pool next to the restaurant where my son took a quick dip before we had to go. The area where you can sit by the ocean (if you have time) is a pretty small strip. I chose to spend more time at the snorkeling area. They give you a choice of shortening or extending different parts of the tour according to your wishes. They also supply bottled water. The tour was pretty good, but I would might go with the one that has a tequila factory tour and bottled sodas in a cooler for you. It may be with Cozumel Cruise excursions dot com. If you start very early, you might have time to swim with the dolphins. You end up VERY close to port. About 5 or 10 min.

Thanks!

I know its a must for some in our group to do the dolphins, so we will see what everybody says, but thanks to you, I will look into other ''jeep tours'' and see what's out there. Dont like what happened re: snorkeling, as one in our group loves to snorkel, no reason for another $10.... We are tippers, so that's not a problem!
