stephanie1 Posted November 15, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 15, 2011 My BF and I each received a $250 cruise credit from a past cruise. I am going in 2 weeks but my friend had to drop out due to work commitment. I had to pay for single occupancy of the cabin as RCCL will not apply a future cruise credit unless the person actually sails. The FCC expires 12/15/11. Do you think that RCCL can or will extend the dates of the expiration? Anyone have any experience with this?

No I don't think they will, the best you might hope for, is to be able to use it on a cruise that is booked and the certificate submitted prior to 12/11/11, but that is questionable. If you are cruising in 2 weeks then this cruise should already have been paid for, if you had left your BF on the reservation, but had him just not show up, you would have been ok, it would have cost the taxes for 1 person, but that is better than losing $
