Dennis75 Posted November 18, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 18, 2011 Can anyone tell me if there are possibilities to book an snorkel excursion with turtles in the harbour of Bridgetown? Or do you recommand to book this with the cruise-operator?
sightseersalso Posted January 13, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 13, 2012 We cruised w/Princess Feb 2011 and booked the Turtle Encounter, Shipwreck and Snorkel. We had a blast. Our tour was on a jet boat and was so much fun and this is a person who doesn't do well at amusement parks. The snorkel w/the turtles was wonderful, then a jet boat ride to the shipwreck for a snorkel there and then the boat went near to the shore and backed into the shoreline. When we exited out the back we were waist deep. We could swim or go on the beach or just stand in the water and drink the rum punch they continued to give us. Great time!:D

Great time!:D Did you book thru the cruise line? Carnival does not seem to offer quite what we want and I know I saw something thru a private operator last year. The snorkeling with the turtles may not have been at the farm itself. Any ideas?
sightseersalso Posted January 30, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 30, 2012 Yes we did book through the cruise line. Maybe you could ask a question on these threads or check on line for tour companies. In the AAA tour book the Barbados Tourism # 800-221-9831 Good Luck. :)
merinski Posted January 30, 2012 #5 Share Posted January 30, 2012 We booked ahead, it seems they book up fast! We booked with Shasa Catamaran, it was Awsome!! We just got back! I highly recomend Shasa! Small group, cruise group is large, so would be hard not to be kicked ... It was great!:) http://www.shasacatamarancruises.com/
Lil Angels Posted February 1, 2012 #6 Share Posted February 1, 2012 We just got back and this was the best tour ever!! http://www.calabazasailingcruises.com Only 12 passengers and three crew members!! The boat is much bigger than the Shasa boat and they took care of us like we were family!!
