crewsin250 Posted November 20, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 20, 2011 Any suggestion on driving directions to optional parking it seems since RCCL has arrived at NO there have been traffic jams both sailings. My sister left today and was stuck in traffic for almost 3 hours she said, and they parked her in a public parking area. Is there a way we can park around the riverwalk and just carry our luggage to the cruise terminal and if so what would the cost be. Normal 1 Posted November 20, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 20, 2011 We are sailing in 3 weeks and staying 2 nights pre-curise in the Hilton Riverside. Will be using Fulton Place Parking ($12/day) for the entire trip. They have a shuttle to the pier. You do have to make a reservation in advance. Look at www.fultonplaceparking.com. rvsullivan Posted November 24, 2011 #4 Share Posted November 24, 2011 If she was stuck for 3 hours it was probably not because of the cruise ships. We got "stuck" two years ago for construction and a ball game. If the Saints are playing its a zoo. With two ships in port, you should be in and out in under an hour and usually much less than that. We've made it to the car and on the road in under 30 minutes usually.
