OMG!!! Finally found them.....

I am SO excited!!

 

I have been using the Myxer cruise ship horn as my ringtone as we prepare for our cruises for a few years. It has always been a welcome addition to the countdown clock - to remind me (and anyone who happens to be near by) that its almost cruise time!! ;)

 

Well.....I always thought it would be great to have the Carnival "announcement chime" and "donk" to use as text message and email sounds. I have searched off an on for several years....but today - with the help of my friend "Google" - I FOUND THEM!!!! :D

 

Have downloaded them and synched them to the phone. I am happy, Happy, HAPPY!!! ;) :D

What kind of phone do you have?? I would love to have the 'donk' as my text notification but cannot figure out how to make it work on iphone 4. I have no idea what I'm doing in regards to anything with this phone...

You must have the new OS and then follow these directions:

 

http://www.ehow.com/how_2160460_custom-iphone-ringtones-free.html

 

They will then show up as ringtones - that you can also set for the text message, email and voicemail tones - but only if you have updated to the new OS.

 

Without the new OS you can still set any of them as a ringtone - but not as the text or email alerts.

Well I was searching on my phone for text ring tones and found one (god its the best) That is a ships horn then says "Woohoo you got a message"! Which is so me cause I "woohoo" everything!

Also use a ships horn I made for certain emails

I also have Bang the Drum for my ringtone. I downloaded the ship's horn for a message tone, but myxer puts it in the regular ringtone place so I can't make it for messages. :(
