Questions about booking excursions & Packages without cabin assignment?

I have a question I hope someone out there can help me with.

We booked a BE Gty cabin on the Dawn for June. We have not been assigned a cabin yet, and may not be assigned a cabin until the day we arrive at port. My TA says chances are we will be up-graded or offered an even higher up-grade for a nominal fee. Anyway, we want to book our excursions and I want to order a Honeymoon/Romance Package to surprise my wife. However, they ask what cabin number we have. We don’t have one yet.

So, the excursion reservations isn’t so concerning to me. However, if they don’t assign us a cabin until we check in, how will they get the champagne, etc to our cabin and set-up before we get to it? Or, do they set that up later? I really wanted to have the champagne there for when we walked into the room. I thought we could open it and celebrate our departure.

Anyone have experience with this situation? And how did it work out? Thanks for any info.

No problem - we were booked BE GTD Feb 2003 - never got a cabin until we arrived at the port. Champagne made to the cabin.

You may not know your cabin but it is assigned by NCL and on the manifest at least a week in advance.
