djr88 Posted November 29, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 29, 2011 Finally, after checking for over 150 days a price drop. I booked ES rate, and now need to know what to do. Balance is paid in full, so I would qualify for OBC? I just need to know how to go about it. Any help would be great!
FloridaGators Posted November 29, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 29, 2011 Yes with ES you can get a price drop up until 2 days before you sail. Fill out this form and off you go.... http://www.carnival.com/cms/requestforms/CCLEarlySaverForm.aspx
djr88 Posted November 29, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted November 29, 2011 Thanks for your help. I filled out the form. Its only a $40 drop, but happy to have it. I have literally checked every day, sometimes several times a day for almost 6 months. :)

kshawks Posted November 29, 2011 #6 Share Posted November 29, 2011 Congrats! I have checked my cruise everyday, sometimes several times a day, looking for a drop...found a $10.00pp drop and submitted the form, and a couple days later it got approved. I wish another drop would come before we leave, but I highly doubt that with 67 days left it's going to :( Still happy to have the $10pp though. djr88 Posted November 29, 2011 Author #9 Share Posted November 29, 2011 It feels like success. After checking sooooo many times, I had to double take this morning. I couldnt believe my eyes. Look forward to hearing back from Carnival to confirm it.
Cruisin'Lovebirds Posted November 29, 2011 #10 Share Posted November 29, 2011 It's Tuesday; we sail Saturday; and I just filed for another $100 drop using ES matching to the Past Guest rate. The ES program has worked well for us on several cruises. Never give up checking til the day before!
cruisin321 Posted November 30, 2011 #11 Share Posted November 30, 2011 This might be a stupid question but how do i check the rates of my cabin type? I saw a cheaper price then mine and filed for some money back and they told me i have a 4d not a 4a or something like that

Pookeybear1966 Posted November 30, 2011 #13 Share Posted November 30, 2011 It's Tuesday; we sail Saturday; and I just filed for another $100 drop using ES matching to the Past Guest rate. The ES program has worked well for us on several cruises. Never give up checking til the day before! Funny you mention that cause ours just dropped 50.00 (past guest rate was lower) and we are awaiting our approval for the OBC :) I wonder if that past guest rate will continue to drop? I sure hope so!
