Hey FOMT's! My Turn...

'm not even sure if Mr T and the FOMT's are still together,I haven't seen many postings lately-BUT- after seeing all of you go on cruise after cruise while I sit in the frozen tundra- it's finally my turn!! We are hosting the CC party in our *suite* (she says snobbily) but I'm sure it will be nothing like the FOMT sailaway parties.

Rumncoke- our pilgrimage to Mall of America is planned for the end of July- maybe you'll need a trip home!

Bye-Bye...

Hi Karen,

Yes, FOMT is still together and growing. Our last trip on the Sky added about a half dozen new converts to the FOMT style of cruising.

Have a great time on your cruise. Look forward to your review upon your return.

By the way, Rumncoke and I have just booked our fall cruise. We will be boarding the Norwegian Sun on November 6th. Care to join us???

PE<--- is looking forward to his next FOMT style cruise...

karfest,
hope you're LIVING IT UP!

I would love to cruise with you and the FOMT, how is 2005 looking for everyone? We were considering Feb, but maybe Nov would work. I know those FOMT's like to cruise in Nov .

I am a retail manager so there is basically no vacation time from November to January. I think our next cruise will be in February as I can't stand to wait this long again!
Matt- if the folks at the store seem sad for a week, it's because they aren't receiving e-mails from me
It's expected to be 95 in Acapulco today- I love it

FOMT stands for Friends of Mister Tractor.

It is a group of people that have cruised together in the past an plan to do more in the future.

FOMT is also a cruising state of mind. It is a state of mind which does not allow anything to get in the way of having a good time and soaking up as much Vitamin Sea as one can tolerate.

Karen,

Enjoy.

As you can see, I have done the unthinkable, and booked over 1 1/2 years out. Yikes!

Touche', my friend Tom!

Actually, we really enjoyed our Carnival cruise, but then, I've enjoyed every cruise!

of course, the weather is beautiful here in Green Bay today, but I still hope it snows while we're gone...

 • 2 weeks later...
Darn- we're back!!

This is a fabulous itinerary- I don't know that I want to go to the Caribbean again- the Mexican Riviera was great. We met some great people and our CC party was a blast.

I am on the fence as to which cruise line I prefer, but there were a few small irritations with Princess that may drive me back to NCL or RCCL. I'll post a review and pictures once I get my head together. The sea legs have got me way off balance today!

Hey Karen!
Glad you had a great cruise!!! My only non-caribbean so far was a 3 nighter LA to Ensenada. There was certaily a world of difference between the Caribbean and the Pacific for me. I am so glad to hear that the Mexican Riviera is a great itinerary. It is a lot closer to home!

Karen,

I've booked the 12/10/05, yes 05, Carnival Spirit sailing, eight days San Diego-Acapulco-San Diego. Extended port side balcony cabin. The balcony is bigger than most NCL non-suite staterooms!

I'm not done sailing the Caribbean by any stretch of the imagination, but wanted to try Mexican Riviera. We'll see.

I've already started looking at NCL Star for April 2005, but I may give Carnival a look. we heard some good things about their newer ships.
This itinerary was the best we ever had. There were no stops that I would not go to again. Each one was really varied, from crazy Acapulco to sleepy Zihua- we can't decide which port was best and there was certainly no worst. I will brush up on my Spanish for next time, though. While most spoke English, we did have 2 cab drivers and a waiter that basically spoke none. It was a fun adventure! I will post a small review of the ports on the Mexican Riviera board.

Karen,

The only Spanish I remember is: "Mas cervesa por favor" and "Donde esta el bano?"

What else do I need to know?

And where is MrT? Off filming the next Survivor?

BAMA- if it's in a museum it's called art, if it's on a polaroid, it's porn.
But if it involves whips, hmmmm....

The only thing worse than being talked about is...

NOT BEING TALKED ABOUT!!!

It's no wonder my ears have been burning!

Reports of my demise have been greatly exaggerated!!! MrT and BG are alive and well in Bug Tussle, Virginia.

And we have two cruises booked!!!! Alaska in July and..........

THAT'S RIGHT.......

the Caribbean in November. At the urging of Grand Wizards of FOMT Planer's Edge and Rumncoke we are booked on a return to the Norwegian Sun.

New victims, er, members of FOMT from the Radiance OTS FOMT cruise Barbie and Ken have also booked that week!

The movement is growing with every cruise!!!

HAAAHAhahaahaaaaaaa....

Seriously, I'm not sure if we will even be able to go in November, but I won't have to decide until we get back from Alaska. I put a deposit down just in case I can swing the time off and cough up the money. *#@*!UlM...UNK....GACK*#@!

But then I do have enough points on my NCL CC for a free cruise!

Stay tuned!!!!....

MrT<------hopes karfest has a ball!......
