first timer can you call between cabins?

It's our first cruise in eight days, can you call between the cabins for free, like at hotels? My teens are going to be next door to us and I'll need to wake them up in the morning. :)

I believe some of the newer ships you can leave messages but not the olders. You can also set a wakup call from the phone. :)

I´m not sure if it´s on all ships the case but I remember that on some ships there has been a voice mail system.

 

Wake up calls have been available towards the ships telephone system on all ships I´ve ben on.

Emmabelle, yes you can call. If your teens are like mine and like to wake up at the crack of noon, you can call, pound on the door and common wall.

 

After embarkation, go to the reception desk and ask for an additional key to their room. That way, you can actually go into the room and pull on the big toe sticking out from under the sheets.

Just make sure you're dialing the correct cabin #. For some reason, we seem to be an idiot magnet and get calls for someone else's cabin all the time. Either that or it's the new teenage thing instead of running down the hallways knocking on doors.

I think it's more a pre-teen thing to run down halls and knock on doors. Mostly boys 9-12 years of age. It's definitely not funny.
