Taking water on board

Hi -

My husband and I took a case of water in our carry-ons onto the ship - not a problem! I highly recommend this rather than pay the premiums for the Evian bottled water in the stateroom. When we arrived at port in Miami, we restocked up on our water supply! Enjoy your cruise!

We brought a twelve pack of bottled water on our first cruise to keep in the cabin and to take on shore to the beach. We were satisfied with the quality of the ships drinking water and ended up leaving 6 of the bottles for the cabin stewardess(We asked first and she was happy to have them) along with an extra cash tip.
Now I just take a six pack of Poland water in my luggage so I can throw a bottle in my bag when we leave the ship

The smaller bottles are so much easier to carry around on excursions than the larger bottles they give you. We are planning on bringing our own water next trip. As Nina put it, we are "water snobs". Love my Poland Springs!

Have any of you been on NCL Sea and brought your water with you? NCL told me today, no way Jose. I can buy water on the ship! After an outbreak of the Norwalk Virus on the NCL Crown this week, I don't want to risk a gastrointenstinal flu. NCL didn't care. Think I'll just pack some in my checked luggage and *rasberry* on them. Let the water nazi's come-I'm ready

I read a post once that someone took a case of bottled water onboard. They took one of the luggage tags (filled out with their name and cabin number) and put it with their luggage. It ended up outside their cabin with the rest of their luggage. I plan to do that myself in July when I go back on the Majesty.

Here is a a great idea:
Buy a couple of bottles of vodka, empty out the vodka and re-fill with the water of your choice then bring on board in your carry one luggage. NCL will probably not even realize you are smuggling water on board.

On the our cruise on the Sea May 1st, we
took a 12 pack diet Pepsi, and 6 pack of
bottled water. Carried them on the ship in
plain sight, not one person said anything to
us about them.So don't ask, just take them
on.

I plan on taking a brita water pitcher and filter on our cruise. I brought one last trip and it was easier than lugging water onboard, actually we filled our water bottles with vodka and rum, LOL.
