Luggage Question

I am looking at getting some tsa travel locks for my luggage. What I need to know is on the last night, when you set your luggage outside your door, do you also set out your carry-ons? I need this info so I know how many locks I need to buy.

You set anything outside your door that you are not going to carry off... so, if you are planning on carrying off your carry on, you will not put it outside the door for them to take...

Do *not* waste your money on these so-called "approved" locks.

 

Depending on the airport, the TSA inspectors do not bother with the "master key" and will just cut off the lock like any other. Save your money, use the cable ties.

Well, that was fast.:) Thanks for the replys. I am not flying, I just thought they might help with custom inspection at port.

In theory, those TSA locks sound good - but in practical application, NO. As suggested above, save your money. Lots of folks use the cable ties - I just use my little luggage lock & key that came w/luggage - easy to replace if has to be cut; no biggie.

 

Hey, just a thought.....If you put your carry-on outside w/the rest of your luggage, what would you do, carry your jammies and toiletries in your hand to disembark?:D :D Happy cruisin' !
