Thinking bout taking the jewel at the end of January has anyone done this? I am expecting to lose deck time for a day going down and a day coming back to NY but how r the waters extra choppy? What type of crowd could we expect? I know kids r in school my wife and I r mid 30s r more people our age looking just to get away? Thanks for all responses in advance

We have been on the same cruise at least 6 times in Jan. Feb. and Oct.. We have had calm seas, but most of the time it is a little choppy, much more choppy than leaving out of miami.

The ships out of NYC are usually full, or close to full.
