bickee Posted April 11, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 11, 2005 Hello! We are looking at a 3 night pre-cruise stay in fort lauderdale. What we would like is a beach/pool area where drinks are delivered by waitstaff, close to the water taxi. What do you think?
Jane110 Posted April 11, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 11, 2005 Try the Boca Raton Hotel and County Club. It's only 20 minutes from Ft. Lauderdale. Beautiful old hotel with access to the beach and pool. Great golf if you're interested in that too. Jane
tortoni Posted April 29, 2005 #3 Share Posted April 29, 2005 Try the Marriott Harbor Beach, it's right on the beach with a nice pool. Also, you can try it on Priceline--only hotel in the Resort category.
happycruzer Posted May 2, 2005 #4 Share Posted May 2, 2005 Hi bibkee, one that I seriously considered before settling on the Pelican beach resort for our post cruise stay was the Bahia Mar it is right at the water taxi and surrounded by a beautiful Marina. Rates were quite good too and I believe it can be got on priceline too. I've read alot of posts regarding it and all seem favourable. Might be worth a look anyway. baesue Posted May 12, 2005 #5 Share Posted May 12, 2005 baesue here; look into the Marriott Harbour Beach. One of the nicest hotels, on the beach in FLL. baesue
Cruiser_Guy Posted May 12, 2005 #6 Share Posted May 12, 2005 Marriott Harbour beach for sure! Definitely look at that one. Also the Hyatt Pier 66! that would be my next choice. Trust me, I have stayed in every hotel in Fort Lauderdale until I bought 2 houses there! But anyways, those are probably the two top choices!
