altun ha versus san gervasio in cozumel

we're thinking of seeing the ruins in one of these two places. Can anyone advise which one is better? And, what about the length of the bus ride to Altun Ha from the cruise tender for NCL?

Truthfully, San Gervasio has nothing to see. Just a few small mounds. In Cozumel, much better to see Tulum. Altun Ha is approximately a good hour ride (much on bumpy roads). This is far better than San Gervasio though. I saw Altun Ha last time in Belize and this time will be Xunatanich (spelling).

Well I gotta tell ya, Altun Ha is only 31 Miles away from Belize City (The area from where your ship docks) The ride is a little less than an hour to get there. You start off on about 22 miles of smoothly paved road and the last 9 Miles are a little Rocky but nothing to really complain about. It's a great place to see, there's a lot of History behind it. :)
