Considering a summer cruise from Boston to St John and Halifax. We always get balconies. Wondering if there is some scenery on this itinerary that makes a Port, Starboard, or aft balcony the best choice?

Nah, not really. The ship passes a few small islands and a very small lighthouse or two on the way in, but that's about it.

 

I love that 5-day itinerary--it's a perfect blend of sea and port days. It doesn't get too hot at that time of year, and I love the fog that envelops the ship sometimes on sea days. If you go, I'm sure you'll have a great time.

Thanks. I was about ready to give up on this post. We'd be going end of June, then over to Buffalo NY for a couple of days. I love living in Florida but man oh man is it ever nice to get away from the summer heat for a few days.

 

I could do with one more port and one less Sea day, but that's life. Besides, that's what casinos are for.

Our TA recommended a port balcony - She said the scenery is beautiful as you leave Boston and head north past Maine - we too are booked for June.
