Which port for beach day

We are taking a cruise to hawaii on the sapphire princess. i want to do one day at a beach, relaxing and taking it easy. Which port is the best beach port? Can we take a taxi to the beach and what beach should be go to? I like it when there is a hotel or something close by so we can buy lunch and a few drinks, use the bathrooms etc.

I like Oahu for the beach. We wend to Kailua Beach and went kayaking. We booked a guided tour with http://www.twogoodkayaks.com/ The tour was awesome. The beach here is beautiful and the water was really calm so it made kayaking really fun. I would go back in a heartbeat!
