Deck 2 - Freedom of the Seas

Recommended Posts

When we cruise we typically are on the middle of the ship both top to bottom and front to back. This time we are in the middle but the lower deck. Does anyone have an experience with this deck on the Freedom of the Seas?

I was in 2423 on Independence, and it was quiet and stable. It isn't the best location however, as the deck is split in two by the ice rink. If you are forward, you can only access your cabin via the forward stairwell, and aft for aft. Slightly confusing when you walk down the entire length of the royal promenade to find you are at the wrong end of the ship. Also a bit of a trek if you need to quickly nip back to your room from the pool deck as well.
