LisaMichele Posted April 12, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 12, 2005 Hello everyone. It's been awhile...can anyone please tell me if they provide toiletries in the staterooms? Also, are irons available? One more thing.....for anyone recently on the Voyager (or that Class), what was the gamut of dress on semi formal and formal nights? Thank so much. windjamming Posted April 12, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2005 Hi LisaMichele- I just got off the Voyager. There is soap and shampoo in the staterooms but no irons. On the formal nights there was anything from ballgowns to cocktail dresses for women and tuxes, suits and the occasional sports jacket for men. Lots of black. The smart casual night had an even larger range. Women had on cocktail and casual dresses, as well as pantsuits. Men were in polo shirts and sports jackets. The clothes were what I'd expect people to go to work wearing. Even on casual nights most people were fairly put together - kind of what you'd wear on a golf outing. Hope this helps - have fun and remember, the best accessory is looking like you're having a great time! :) K
hdawson Posted April 12, 2005 #3 Share Posted April 12, 2005 There are sooooo many existing threads of standards of dress, do we really need one more? The cruiseline catalogue and the Welcome Aboard booklet clearly states what is expected. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=161602
LisaMichele Posted April 12, 2005 Author #4 Share Posted April 12, 2005 Yes, I realize there are many threads on this. I'm sorry if one more is a bother to you. I have friends going on a cruise and they'd like to be sure. But thank you so much for your reply. Happy cruising! p.s. Dear WindJamming, thank you for the quick repsponse. I agree, if you look good, you feel good :)
