bluesea4me Posted January 8, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 8, 2012 Does the soda card for kids cover powerade and kids smoothies as well? I know it covers Shirley Temples, etc., but powerade and smoothies would be great too! If not, are there coupons you can purchase prior to the cruise for them to use to get a smoothie so I can still have no spending allowed on SS cards? bbohbbneedacruise Posted January 8, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 8, 2012 No only soda and juice are included. Smoothies and virgin drinks start at $4.75+ grats. Even the soda coupons are only worth $1.95 ea. You can give kids a preset spending limit. I have read where the parents will give the kids $XX amount and let them know if they spend it that is it. carhopsrock Posted January 8, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 8, 2012 I believe powerade is $3. Its the only thing I drink besides water, so I spent about $30 on my last cruise.
bluesea4me Posted January 8, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted January 8, 2012 That is what I figured. thought I'd ask though. We did bring on some gatorade or powerade on our last cruise, but went throught it quite fast. I love lemonade, but it can get old fast.

You might consider refillable water bottles and the packets of powerade. I use the propel packets both at home and traveling.
