cruiser8 Posted May 9, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 9, 2004 Does anyone know what the mini suite on the Dawn is like? And does it sleep 4. I think 2 lower bed go together, but I don't know about sleeping for 2 others. Thanks
Big Al B. Posted May 10, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 10, 2004 There is a sofa which will open into a bed for two, but I don't think two adults would be comfortable in it. The cabin is very nice with two lounge chairs and a small table on the balcony. Bathroom has three sections separated by sliding doors - main section with sink, toilet, and a tub/shower. We really enjoyed our trip in one. Statendam-Alaska '97, Veendam-NE/Canada '98, RCCL-Bermuda, '99, Am. Dolphins Posted May 10, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 10, 2004 Ditto bigal- I believe the mini-suite is suitable for 2 adults and 2 children on the sofa bed.

Big Al B. Posted May 11, 2004 #5 Share Posted May 11, 2004 I actually don't think it has much more in the way of coffee maker etc. than the other balcony cabins. (There is a hot water, not coffee maker, and fridge) You do get robes which I don't think are available in regular balconies, and the bathroom has a tub/shower not just shower. I think the chairs on the balcony are a bit nicer. BTW Joann, welcome to the boards. Just a friendly hint - all capitals is considered by some as shouting . You are going to love the Dawn. JOANN226 Posted May 11, 2004 #6 Share Posted May 11, 2004 Thanks for the correction on my caps, as you can tell I'm new to this, hope I didn't offend anyone. Thanks for your reply on the mini suite, looking forward to our cruise.
DYNA Posted May 11, 2004 #7 Share Posted May 11, 2004 There were 4 of us in a mini-suite My girlfriend and our daughters (20 & 22) My daughter and I had the bed which was queen sized while my girlfriend and her daughter had the sofa They fit fine The only problem is it was hard so we asked the cabin steward for an extra duvet which made it much softer Bathroom was great but the overall favorite was the balcony Spent alot of relaxing time there Enjoy your cruise and if you have any more questions just ask
