timsgrl Posted April 13, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 13, 2005 My husband and I will be taking our first cruise next month. We are going to the Southern Caribbean (St. Thomas, Dominica, Barbados, Aruba). We already have our shore excursions booked for each port but with our remaining time left at the port we are looking for recommendations of other things to see and/or do. For each particular port listed above, what things are within walking distance of the ship that are good to see and/or do? If you do recommend an activity and it's not within walking distance of the ship, about how long does it take to get there and by what mode of transportation do you recommend? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!
GSDsky Posted April 13, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 13, 2005 St Thomas: You will get many options here. Cab to Megans or Saphire and then come back and shop. -Time remaining is shop I would guess Dominica: Reynolds tour is a must to both falls. -Time remaining (not much) other than the bar across from pier. So hot you may want to shower and eat after the tours. Barbados: Silver Moon or Silver Moon 2 -Time remaining (don't take a breathizer) (don't drive) LOL Shop in Pier Terminal I guess Main thing is to not stress and just go with the flow...
