Reputable Car Rental Companies

My friends and I will be aboard the Carnival Freedom in June and one of our stops is Aruba. We will be in port from 8:00 - 4:00. After going back and forth about what we'd like to do, we've decided that we would like to rent a jeep and tour the island at our own leisure. We would also like to spend a little time at the beach before heading back to the ship.

 

I'm trying to find a reputable car rental company and was wondering if any of you that have been to Aruba before can recommend one. It would be nice to find one within close proximity to Eagle Beach, since that is where we would like to end our day. We could just drop the car off and head over to the beach and then take the bus back to the port.

 

I guess that was my next question... how close is Eagle Beach to the port? Is it within walking distance or would we need to take a bus?

 

Any information would be helpful and appreciated!
