OnWeGo Posted January 20, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2012 Posted a question about private tours in Toulon and now have a couple questions on exploring this port on our own. There are so many little towns/villages in this area to see but I think we have narrowed it down to a couple that seem to be popular (from the posts I've read here and in Trip Advisor). They are Cassis or Hyeres. Of these two which would be better. Are they both easy to get to by train? Suggestions of what to do/see there. Shopping? Places of Interest? Restaurants? I also heard Bandol is nice but don't think that is accessible by train? Also, renting a car is not an option. We are too chicken to drive in a foreign country!:D Help us choose!

I am leaving on Friday and will be in Toulon on Sept 15 Patricia Rand USA
