elephant98 Posted May 12, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 12, 2004 The inaugural sailing of the Pride of Aloha is less than two months away. But, NCL still hasn't posted a list of available shore excursions for the new 7-day itenerary on its website. Is NCL even taking reservations for shore excursions on the 7-day cruise yet? I realize that I can look at the offerings for the "12-day Hawaii escape" on POA out of California. But, I want to make sure that nothing is different on the 7-day. Thanks in advance. elephant98 Posted May 12, 2004 Author #2 Share Posted May 12, 2004 Ask . . . and ye shall receive! I presume this is just a coincidence, but the Pride of America shore excursions for the 7 day itenerary are now available on the NCL website. (It wasn't available when I first posted this question just two hours ago).
jonsmom Posted May 12, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 12, 2004 When will Pride of America be sailing? Isn't that the ship that was damaged while it was being built? I called NCL today for a Hawaii brochure and asked about POA and was told they didnt know when it would start offering sailings. jkrislc Posted May 12, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 12, 2004 I presume they were referring to the Pride of Aloha and said America by accident. As for the America, no firm date has been given, but I believe NCL is booking passangers for late summer 2005. margu1241 Posted May 13, 2004 #10 Share Posted May 13, 2004 Herb, I am not sure where you are looking, but if you go the link I posted above, it will open up the PDF file for the Hawaii sailings. Pride of Aloha
herb Posted May 13, 2004 #11 Share Posted May 13, 2004 Thank you for posting the link to the PDF ADOBE listing of the shore excursions... I'm probably not looking in the right spot on the NCL website. On their homepage I went to the bottom of the page and clicked on "shore excursions", once I was directed to that page I chose "Hawaii"; a smaller page showed and when I scrolled down, the listing ended with the June 20 sailing...12 day to Hawaii. I'm sure you looked elsewhere. I couldn't imagine that my computer didn't refresh the page. In any case, I have bookmarked the shore excursions and I can now think of things to see when we sail. Thanks again... herb T.S. Bremen '67 M.S. Europa '67 Carnival Mardi Gras '80 NCL S.S. margu1241 Posted May 13, 2004 #12 Share Posted May 13, 2004 Herb, I don't know why it didn't show up for you-I did exactly the same to get the link to post. It looks like they have a lot of excursions to offer. Do people think there are some that are likely to sell out before the ship sails? herb Posted May 14, 2004 #13 Share Posted May 14, 2004 Patty, I just got home from work and I checked. NOW it is added!!! Finally..... The one after the 12 day to Hawaii is listed as just plain "Hawaii" How strange that on my NCL site it only showed up from the time I left for work and came home today, yet you and the others were able to access it. You would think that once a site is updated ALL computers would be able to access any newly added information. herb T.S. Bremen '67 M.S. Europa '67 Carnival Mardi Gras '80 NCL S.S.
