suying Posted January 22, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 22, 2012 Could you share some update of the vibration issues on Eurodam if you just came back from 1-14 to 1-21 cruise from Eurodam? I am quite worried about the vibration for my April cruise in Eurodam. Some fellow passages reported the consistent vibration and suggested to change the ship. My final payment is coming. Any update on the vibration issue will be greatly appreciated and will help me make my decision.:)
Alisamontreal Posted January 22, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 22, 2012 You can read my post in the other Eurodam thread. And if you're booked in a cabin ending with 70, my advice is to change cabins at the very least!
Megsie1000 Posted January 22, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 22, 2012 Just off the Eurodam yesterday. I noticed it maybe once or twice, but that was only when consciously thinking about it and it was certainly not constant. I don't think it is any different from the sort of vibration I have felt in every other cruise I have ever been on. I remember reading the threads and so a few times I even stopped myself to ask in my head whether I was feeling vibration. I think the fact that I had to stop and even think about it should answer the question. It was not a problem for me in any location I went on the ship. Typhoon1 Posted January 23, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 23, 2012 All ships move, thus there is some vibration.
Linda74 Posted January 23, 2012 #5 Share Posted January 23, 2012 Just returned. I noticed vibration in the MDR the first night and occasionally in other parts of the ship, but it is nothing to worry about. My DH thinks it is that the control movement gyros weren't properly balanced (he did a lot of work in aerospace). He did not feel it was any kind of safety issue. After the second day, I never noticed it and would have gladly gotten right back on the ship for another voyage. FYI, I am prone to sea sickness and despite some very rough water and a deck 8 aft cabin, never felt a bit queasy.....I would not hesitate to take the Eurodam in the spring.
