Cash or Credit?

We are leaving in 12 days and will hit St. Marteen. Should we use our credit cards or the US dollar? I know the shopping places will take credit, but just wondering about lunch, etc.

I don't think it matters much in St. Marteen; we use our credit card if it is over $15.00 otherwise cash.

On the French side of the island there are places that have $-E if you pay with cash instead of credit cards. This is quite common in Grand Case at the restaurants.
