Purchasing soda while in port

Can someone tell me if they allow you to bring a case of soda or water that is bought while in port for instance if I buy 1 12 pk of coke will they allow me to bring that on board or will they confiscate it until cruise if over.

They will let you bring it on. You can buy some at every port and never run out of pop. :)

Yup, you can bring back unopened water or soda back onboard. I'm sure they'd allow it back onboard if its opened, though they might want to make sure its non-alcoholic. We usually also take some water/soda at the start of the trip. They'll want to open your bags and check the contents after the x-ray machine spots the liquids. I saw several single beers and an open water bottle in a bin behind the nice security lady.

We carried on a 750 m bottle of Tequilla in Cozumel !! Went thru the scanner ,in a cloth carry type bag. Was not hidden at all.
