Transfers

OK, so just how bad are the transfers arranged through Princess? We'll be going to Tahiti, June 3rd. Ordinarily, we go to the Caribbean, where we have to fly into Florida the day before. Princess makes sure that our luggage gets from the hotel to the ship and has provided a comfortable bus to get us to the docks. This time, we fly into Tahiti the same day as we embark. (Our flight arrives at around 6:20PM.) I'm hearing that the transfers are twice the price of a regular taxi and that you have to wait in lines all over the place. The day we fly home, our flight isn't until close to midnight, so I'm not concerned about finding our luggage and all that since most of the other folks from the ship will have claimed theirs for earlier flights. Transfers or no? I'm willing to pay more, if the service is swift and convenient. Thanks!!
