2+3Cruisers Posted January 30, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2012 We have a private charter arranged with Capt Marvin from 9-2 to visit the stingrays, reef fish and snorkel. We are going to need something for lunch. They will arrange lunch at a restaurant for us but for $150. OUCH! They said we can bring lunch. I'm trying to figure out how to do that. Can I bring food off the ship? Is there any place that would be right off the ship where we could pick up sandwiches to take with us? I'm looking for suggestions. Thanks! 1948buddy Posted January 30, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 30, 2012 Beware Grand Cayman is expensive.. You will not have a problem taking OFF the ship, so that is what I would do.
Colorado Kat Posted February 3, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 3, 2012 I would eat a big breakfast on ship, and eat again as soon as we boarded. You are not supposed to take food off the ship - agricultural laws. Only if the food is sealed, like mini boxes of cereal. We have brought sealed packs of nuts, etc from home - that is allowed.
