Adventure Ocean for 7 yr old

Have not cruised in two years and will be cruising in March. My son is 7 and last time we cruised they gave me a "cell phone" in case they or he needed to get in contact with me. Do they do that for this age group or is it just for the younger kids?

It's probably just for younger children. We just sailed the Allure with a 7 year old and no cell phone was given.

We did not get a phone for our then 7 yo on our Oasis cruise last year. I think they save them for the younger kids. You can usually get a dect phone from Guest Services for a small weekly fee though if you really want phone access.
