Hawaii Question

It depends on if you are looking for the hottest time or the coolest. We just got back a few weeks ago and it was mid to high 70's low 80's all week. Had rain one day. In the winter months you have the whales which is a perk. I don't think the climate changes very much except it is warmer/drier in the summer

Miami is hotter and colder than Honolulu, has much more rain than Honolulu, and is also more humid.

Never-the-less, Hana on the island of Maui has the most rain in America. Whether it rains or not in Hawaii mostly depends upon whether your ship or where you are ashore is located windward or leeward to the prevailing winds...

On one side, the climate is like West Texas (dry savannas); on the other side the climate is like Panama (tropical rainforest). Believe it or not, you'll see snow in Hawaii almost year round at the peaks of some volcanos.

August-September can be quite warm, and hot when its occasionally "Kona" weather and the tradewinds quit blowing. December-March can be cool and rainy. The Eastern or "Windward" sides of the islands can have significantly more rain, than the drier Western or "Leeward" sides of the islands. The higher elevations in the mountains will be cooler. Early Spring and Summer, as well as October-November are quite pleasant and drier. Showers during theses times of the year are usually brief. I would recommend getting to the Islands at least a couple of days early pre-cruise to unwind, see the sights on Oahu, ans soak up the Aloha Spirit. Hope you enjoy your trip and Aloha !
