DragonMouse Posted February 1, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 1, 2012 Question: Hopefully I get lots of responses to settle my nerves. Return flight from Seattle (going on an Alaskan cruise this summer 2012) we're booked for a return flight of 1:40. Does this seem reasonable?? We're going to be there 3 days early...after the cruise I do not want to stay...I need to get home.
tfrcal Posted February 1, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 1, 2012 Does the cruise come back to Seattle or Vancouver? If Seattle, you will have no problems barring something unforeseen happening. If Vancouver is the return port, I would not want that flight but if you rented a car and drove back to Seattle you could do it assuming no unnecessary delays at the border. DragonMouse Posted February 5, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted February 5, 2012 I didn't even think about mentioning a different port...but YES we are returning to Seattle.
Frank12 Posted February 5, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 5, 2012 Airport is not that far from port. If the ship returns to port on time, you will have no problem!
amdmsk Posted February 5, 2012 #6 Share Posted February 5, 2012 You'll be fine! Last year, when we got off the Spirit, we had a flight that left around 12:00 (I don't remember the exact time), but we made it just fine! Enjoy the trip! It's beautiful :)

We are thinking about doing this this summer, how long of a drive is it from Vancouver to Seattle? Is there a train or is renting a car the best way?
