mikehn Posted February 3, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2012 Will be visiting Galveston for the first time, arriving on March 31. If the weather cooperates, I think we might like to get a little beach time in. Is there free public access to the beach all along the seawall? Or do I have to go to one of the beach parks that I've been reading about, such as East Beach, Stewart Beach, etc?
Galveston Cruiser Posted February 3, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 3, 2012 The entire beach is free. You have approximately 32 miles of beach with the exception of a small area where the water meets the seawall. Stewart, East and the pocket beaches charge a fee in the summer. Enjoy:)
