best hot sauce you bought in belize ?

looking to buy some hot sauce from the different ports and was wondering what was the best hot sauce you bought in belize and where did you buy it ?

Simply answered is anything made by Marie Sharp, her hot condiments are the official condiments of Belize. Most tourist shops will sell her stuff. Many varieties, but it's gotta be Marie Sharps.

Marie Sharps is it... I like the gold label. just the right heat...for collectors go for the Beware..

I am not to much into the heat, but more the spice, and I LOVE Lissette's Secret Sauce, Mango Tango, and there is a third one. Mixed on shrimp and specifically coconut shrimp, it is wonderful. The Secret Sauce may be on the sweeter side for some REALLY HOT people. Gallon Jug brand is more expensive than Marie Sharp but also sold by most gift shops. Gallon Jug much less well known. Many restaurants put Gallon Jug on their tables and some just assume they are Marie Sharp.

Here is some I picked up on the last visit on Caye Caulker - don't know if it is widely available. Still have 3 bottles including one of the red variety.

For sure Marie Sharp's. Bought 3 bottles on our cruise last year, then sourced it out in some of our local stores here and have bought about 9-10 bottles. going back to Belize shortly and want to pick up a couple dozen bottles. Prices here in canada were 10. per bottle, picked up there for 1/2 the price.

Definitely Marie Sharp! The best tasting hot sauce ever. It is not only HOT but has lots of taste!:eek:
