starbrite911 Posted February 7, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 7, 2012 Do we need to know how to swim to enjoy the sting ray in the water? will a lifejacket be sufficient?
Colorado Kat Posted February 7, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 7, 2012 The water where the sting rays are will be waist high to chest high. Very safe.
Excited about Cruising Posted February 7, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 7, 2012 We were out at Stingray City. My husband can't swim either. You'll be fine.
Jewelfine Posted February 11, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 11, 2012 What was the boat ride out there like? My husband hates small boats
clackey Posted February 13, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 13, 2012 What was the boat ride out there like? My husband hates small boats We were on a 32 footer when we went with Nativeway 2 weeks ago. We had about 20 people on it. The ride is probably 30 minutes going out and 45 if you return from Rum Point. It was a little choppy that day but noone got sick. Nativeway does a fine job, by the way. I would not hesitate to use them again.
