Mexican Riviera/Sapphire Princess

We are considering a cruise from LA Oct 22 for a seven day cruise down to the Mexican Riviera. Would this be a good choose at that time of the year. Works well with our childrens fall break and logistics. We have four kids and our other friends have three. yay or nay? Pros or cons?

I have been on the Sapphire last year the 1st part of Oct. and if you like HOT and HUMID then that is right up your alley. Otherwise the Sapphire is a beautiful ship. Plenty of room, lots of different size pools for kids and adults. Everything else about the ship was great in my opinion, just hot and humid.
