Wave-Rider questions

We were there a few weeks ago and bought our 9 year old son a pass right at Margaritaville. We paid $40 and he got about an hour and a half on the flow rider. Well worth the price. They had him start on his stomach, then maneuver to his knees. Eventually he tried surfing (standing up). If I had to estimate, I would say he probably got 12-15 turns. Now I imagine this will vary depending on how many sign up. It started up around noon.

Hello, i know that Carnival sells "time" on the mville wave-rider, but do they accept walk-ups? If so, it there a charge? What time does it normally "open"? We dock at 7a..

thanks!

I wasn't wearing a watch but I would say it opened around 10:00ish..you can buy a pass right there at the hut to the left of the FlowRider. Not sure about the charge...I think there are a few different options.
