dettlja Posted February 12, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2012 We are planning on going to Chank to snorkel with our ds(18), dd(8), dd (10). From what I've seen, the entrance to the water is pretty rocky. What have you guys done for foot protection? We all have our own snorkling gear, but in the past we have just walked into the water off the beach. Its nearly impossible to swim with water shoes or sandles on, and its just as difficult to walk across rocks with flippers on, so whats a family to do? Suggestions anyone? Thanks! trabeler Posted February 12, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 12, 2012 From what I remember, there were steps from the sandy beach down into the water at the snorkeling area. We were able to sit on the steps and put on the flippers before getting into the water. Right around the bottom of the steps it was a bit dicey getting into and out of the water, but DD(12) managed ok.
