Poker On Conquest

I'm interested to know also. My husband, a poker junkie, said he saw somewhere, I believe on a review on another website, that there is a poker room. But I know on other ships they have a "card room" and it's just for self orgnaized games as far as I can tell.

 Sailed the Conquest last month. There was no Poker Room in the Casino. Just Carib. Stud and three Card. Carnival is adding this to other ships but probably not the Conquest till drydock later this year. Have a Great Cruise!:)

there is also Let It Ride POker which incorporates an optional betting system to use your 3 cards for a 3-card poker hand . The optional bet is $5 to use your three cards and 3 times I hit a straight flush for $200 each. My Dh hit it twice. Worth the bet, but we didnt do it every hand.

:) I was interested in Hold em also. In talking to the Casino Manager on my March Cruise she said that it was possible Carnival would add A Poker Room to the casino during the Conquest's Dry Dock late this summer but nothing was definite.

Yeah, I was wondering if you meant they were adding Texas Hold 'Em to the Conquest after drydock, too?

If so, I am one happy passenger.

Funny story, my brother-in-law's parents went on a RCCL out of Galveston a month ago and his dad tried to start a game of Texas Hold 'Em. No one knew what it was! :) And most of the passengers were from Texas.
