Man of Many Hats

6A, 6B, 6C are the same oceanview cabins. The A,B,C denote the location (a 6A is on the Riveria deck on Conquest class cabins forward and aft, while the 6B are Riveria deck, mid ship and Main Deck, forward and aft while 6C are midship on Main)

I don't rely on Carnival's vague deck plans. Just google your ship name and deck plans and you'll find sites that have easy color coded plans with legends showing what categories are what.

You can also go to cruise line rooms dot com and click on your ship and see if anyone has posted pics of your cabin.

a 6 A is on the Riveria deck either forward or aft. 6B is located midship

you have a cabin that has a window- and no the window does not open

Think it must depend on the particular ship. On my upcoming cruise I have a 6B on Ecstasy. We are AFT, as in my window looks out at the wake.
