Man of Many Hats Posted February 21, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 21, 2012 On our next cruise we will have a 6A stateroom. I don't understand the categories of rooms and went to the Carnival site, it shows a picture of an Ocean View room that says 6A, 6B and 6C. So what am I getting in the 6A category? gadan1 Posted February 21, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2012 6A, 6B, 6C are the same oceanview cabins. The A,B,C denote the location (a 6A is on the Riveria deck on Conquest class cabins forward and aft, while the 6B are Riveria deck, mid ship and Main Deck, forward and aft while 6C are midship on Main)
BeccaBecca1713 Posted February 21, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 21, 2012 I don't rely on Carnival's vague deck plans. Just google your ship name and deck plans and you'll find sites that have easy color coded plans with legends showing what categories are what. You can also go to cruise line rooms dot com and click on your ship and see if anyone has posted pics of your cabin.
serene56 Posted February 21, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 21, 2012 a 6 A is on the Riveria deck either forward or aft. 6B is located midship you have a cabin that has a window- and no the window does not open

On my upcoming cruise I have a 6B on Ecstasy. We are AFT, as in my window looks out at the wake.
