Docked from 12:15 to 8:00. Questions on shopping at port and Little Divi Beach.

Should we shop first a little at the port and then go to the beach, or should we do the beach first? Concerned about closing times for the beach and the port shops. We'll be there on a Monday. Thanks. (Have done Orient Beach several times - want to stay close to the port this time)

I'd certainly head to the beach first.

 

You won't be lugging all of your purchases with you. What would you do with them when you go into the water?

 

You could easily get in three hours at the beach.

 

Shops downtown will be closing around 5:00 and the shops at the Cruise Facility will stay open a bit later.

 

There are also a number of bars and restaurants, especially along the Boardwalk, that will stay open later than the shops, but you'd have to walk or take a land taxi back, as the Water Taxi shuts down around 5:30, as I understand.
